Overview
Aphid parasite mix is a combination of four aphid parasitic wasps: Aphidius colemani, Aphidius ervi, Aphelinus abdominalis and Diaeretiella rapae.
It is used where a variety of aphid species have the potential to attack your crops or if you are unsure what aphid species are present.
As each of the parasites have slightly different host ranges, releasing them together makes it more likely that you will be able to control mixed populations of aphids in a crop.

You can use Aphid Parasite Mix to control Green Peach Aphids and a range of the larger aphid species including Greenhouse Potato Aphid, Potato Aphid and Pea Aphids.
Aphid Parasite Mix can also help you control other common aphid species such as Cotton/Melon Aphids, Turnip Aphids, Cabbage Aphids, Cereal Aphids, and many other species.

How Aphid Parasite Mix controls pests among crops
Aphid parasitic wasps have an incredible ability to find their aphid prey in a wide range of crops and production systems.
The adult wasps lay eggs inside the aphid prey, and the parasite develops and consumes the aphid from within. The parasitised aphid usually becomes swollen and changes colour depending on the species of aphid parasite involved. An adult aphid parasite emerges from the parasitised (‘mummified’) aphid to continue its lifecycle.
